Doozy of the Week!

Okay so now this group of trustees (who have not been fired) have decided to lay off 85 teachers and had the gall to say that if any more cuts are required they would take it out of their expenses. Question - Why hasn't the Ministry of Education dismissed these people????? Well, let me ask you this? How much do you think the ministry expenses and what? It would be like calling the kettle black is what this comes down to. Many of my friends work for various government agencies and the on going sad but true joke is how much the government at all levels waste our hard earn money. Its pretty bad when employees of the government even complain about government waste isn't it?

Wow, just when you thought politicians can not stoop any lower in behavior they come up with a home run!

This week I am talking about the Toronto Catholic School Trustees who get paid $18k per year but spend on average $80k in expenses. What is even more shocking is that expenses claimed ranged from lingerie to exotic trips to the Southern hemisphere.

Even after being confronted by Catholic school ratepayers, none of the trustees have shown any kind of remorse what so ever. Can you believe it? Well we have no one else to blame but ourselves, don't get me wrong here, I am not saying we created this sense of entitlement and holier then though attitude of elected officials, but we has in the public do not hold any of these people accountable for bad behavior.
