Although we are several months away from the provincial election I thought we could start a dialogue on this.
I think there is an opportunity for Ontarians to make a real difference with this election. Lets face it, most of our past governments (including this one) have been a terrible disappointment and certainly do not reflect the views of the majority of us. So than why is it we vote for them?
The onus is on us to change the way things work! Why should we settle for what we have now? The values we all believe in or even dream of can become a reality if we chose to do something about it. There are far to many MPPs who seem to think that by wearing the right colors and appearing at the right events represents leadership. Is that what we think? Is that real representation of the community?
Liz Scandals - I copied this from the Guelph Tribune and love it! Liz unfortunately is a perfect example as to what is wrong with provincial politics. Defend your party at all cost and blame the previous governments for all problems. Again, how does this represent your constituents? I have gotten to the point where I no longer belong to any party. Why is it that each party is so blindly partisan, that they seem to never have the best interest of us?
